Farm loan interest rates apply to FSA direct operating, farm ownership, emergency and other loans. FSA updates them monthly based on Treasury rates. The rate is fixed when the loan is approved or closed.Marketing assistance loans let you borrow against harvested, stored grain for up to nine months at the county loan rate instead of selling at harvest. Repay with interest, or at a lower posted county price if prices fall below the loan rate. A loan deficiency payment can be an alternative.

Grain sorghum's county rate is set per hundredweight. Cownty shows it per bushel too (56 lb) so it lines up with corn and wheat.

Rates come from FSA's published tables; the dates are shown with the numbers. Your county office has the official figures and the terms.
